In a universe ruled by transhuman dynasties and alien royalty, Earth is just one of many planets seeded for an extraordinary and sinister purpose—to harvest lifeforms and create a youth serum for the elite. After the death of the matriarch of the powerful House of Abrasax, her children, Balem, Kalique, and Titus, engage in a bitter power struggle for dominance. Balem inherits control of the family empire, Kalique claims the planet Cerise, and Titus indulges in his extravagant lifestyle aboard a luxurious starship. Yet, the balance of power teeters as an unexpected player emerges.
On Earth, Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) leads a mundane existence as a housekeeper in Chicago. Born under the night sky, her father’s fascination with astronomy inspired her name. After his untimely death in a robbery, her mother, Aleksa, fled Russia with Jupiter, raising her amidst a bustling family. Now grown, Jupiter spends her days cleaning wealthy homes and her nights dreaming of something more. Desperate to escape her circumstances, she agrees to sell her eggs for money to buy a telescope, borrowing her friend Katharine’s name for the procedure.
Her ordinary life takes a dark turn when strange, otherworldly “Keepers” attack her and Katharine in their home. Though their memories are erased, Jupiter discovers a bizarre photograph on her phone—a remnant of the encounter. At the clinic, the attack escalates. Disguised as doctors and nurses, the Keepers attempt to kill her. Before they succeed, Caine Wise (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-soldier with wolf DNA, intervenes, saving her from certain death. Sent by Titus Abrasax, Caine whisks Jupiter away from danger as they evade relentless alien hunters across the city. When Caine’s craft is destroyed, he fights off their pursuers, all the while realizing that Jupiter’s significance goes far beyond her understanding.
Seeking answers, Caine takes Jupiter to the secluded home of Stinger Apini, a disgraced former soldier who once fought beside him. In Stinger’s refuge, a curious event unfolds—bees, seemingly drawn to Jupiter, obey her every move. Stinger reveals the truth: Jupiter is the genetic reincarnation of the House of Abrasax’s matriarch, making her galactic royalty and, most importantly, the rightful heir to Earth.
Meanwhile, Balem Abrasax, desperate to retain control of Earth, sends hunters to capture Jupiter. She is abducted and taken to Kalique’s palace on Cerise, where Kalique confirms her royal status and reveals the horrific truth behind the youth serum trade—Earth is the next target. Kalique’s scheming is interrupted when Caine, with the help of Captain Diomika Tsing and the Aegis police force, rescues Jupiter. Together, they journey to Orous, the intergalactic capital, where Jupiter claims her title as Sovereign of Abrasax. Her ascension threatens Balem’s hold over Earth, but her fight is far from over.
As Jupiter returns to Earth, Titus’s true intentions are revealed. He captures Jupiter, plotting to marry and murder her to gain control of Earth. Caine, believed dead after being cast into the void of space, miraculously returns with Stinger’s help, rescuing Jupiter in a dramatic intervention during the wedding ceremony. Still, her troubles deepen—Balem has taken her family hostage, using them as leverage to force her to surrender Earth.
In the turbulent storms of Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, Balem’s vast refinery becomes the stage for the final confrontation. As Jupiter confronts Balem, she realizes he cannot claim Earth without her consent. Refusing his demands, she fights back, even as the collapsing refinery threatens to bury them both. Balem, consumed by his greed and rage, meets his end when he falls into the abyss of his crumbling facility. Caine arrives just in time to save Jupiter as the structure implodes, while Tsing’s fleet rescues her family.
Back on Earth, Jupiter’s family is returned safely, their memories wiped of the ordeal. Jupiter, now the undisputed heir and ruler of Earth, chooses to keep her new status a secret. With her family safe and her planet secure, she finds solace in a budding romance with Caine, who has been reinstated to his former rank in the Legion. Together, they soar into the skies, embarking on a journey to shape a brighter future, leaving behind the shadow of the Abrasax dynasty.
